Actress Yamada Yuu (25) attended the illumination event of the “STAR TREE” Christmas tree at Sunshine City in Ikebukuro, Tokyo. Not only did we get more Christmas lights in Tokyo, we even got to see Yamada sporting a new 30cm short hairstyle. So far she has been known for her beautiful long hair, so it was quite a surprise to see her with her new hairstyle for those who attended the event.
The reporters first thought that something has happened between the relationship of Yamada and Oguri Shun (26), but she assured us that cutting that much of her hair has nothing to do with their relationship. “I just want to challenge new things and this was a first step for me. This decision had nothing to do with a broken heart or something like that.” Having cleared this rumor, how did Oguri actually react to her new style? “He… didn’t really say anything.” She replied with a bashful smile.
The Christmas tree itself is a natural tree and not really as big as some of the others standing around in the city. “It’s a little adult tree. You should come and see it on your date.” Yamada promoted the location.
