Even though SBS ongoing drama ‘You’re Beautiful’ has not been faring well in terms of viewership as compared to KBS ‘IRIS’ aired at the same timeslot, the drama is a big hit online.
After every episode aired, the cast of the drama will go up to the top ranks on various portal site search engines. Fans and drama mania are also in hot discussions over the drama notice boards.
The individual scenes of the A.N.JELL members singing in the drama has also been the topic amongst netizens. And currently the photo sketch released on the drama homepage has attracted over 10,000 views on the day it was revealed on the site.
A SBS staff said, “Of the 3 major dramas by SBS, ‘You’re Beautiful’ homepage has the highest views of the 3 dramas.”
Fans are also very interested in the behind-the-scene photos and also a UCC corner set up on the site.
Apart from that, the drama and the characters in the drama have been up on the top 10 drama search on various portal sites since it was first aired.
It can be seen that even though the drama do not fare well in terms of viewership, it has become a hot issue amongst netizens online. And the fever for the drama is said to continue even after it has ended.
Meanwhile, a special phenomenon has happened on 11.11.2009 when the viewership for 11th episode is 11%. The number 11 has appeared for 4 times.

i can even compare it to boys over flowers which is also good .. but does the rating in korea mattered for the season 2 of YB? coz i’m sure that if koreans watch this alot there will be an extension ,
You’re Beautiful is now one of my favorite Korean Dramas. I enjoyed every episode and I’m happy with the ending. If I were to rate this drama from a scale of 1 – 10, I give it a 10.
This drama is a MUST WATCH. It was great, fantastic, and more than I expected. I never got bored. The story line kept moving. The soundtrack, the actors/actresses were great. I loved Jeremy, Shin Woo, had my emotions all tied up in a ball. I love the ending, which just left me wanting more!!!!
Believe it or not, I think this drama was even better than BOF.

I was addicted to every single episode of this drama.
For BOF, I was addicted to it at first, but as the episodes went on it went downhill and I got tired of it, I skipped most of the parts just to watch Kim Bum and So Eun xP (Honestly, I think this drama is only popular because of it’s history and the manga, which was probably a major hit).
But for You’re Beautiful, I was addicted from the beginning to the end and I felt so bad when it ended (SEASON 2!!!!!!).
This was the first drama that got me addicted in a LOOONG time and I have to say, it was WAY better than BOF.

Jang Gen Seuk has a pretty smile…..however most of the time he is very grumpy with his MCP attitude…
