Mainland artist Jade Liu Li Yang has travelled to Taiwan to promote her EP [Forward] and held a mini concert the other night. Known for her tomboy-like appearance, Jade took advantage of the opportunity to sneak a kiss on guest Yoga Lin’s cheek under the pretty lights and superb atmo
sphere, which surprised both of them.
Jade invited colleague Yoga Lin to share the stage at her mini concert. The queer yoga addressed him
self as a “male chestnut” (Jade’s fans call themselves “chestnuts”) and also gave Taiwan’s fried sugar chestnuts to his fellow Chinese friends so they can have a taste of the warmth that comes from these Taiwanese chestnuts. The two sang [Ti Amo] together romantically and Jade who was originally standing tall and straight even acted femininely by leaning against Yoga’s shoulder.
When fans saw the scene they already began to laugh and shout. Jade then unexpectedly kissed Yoga on the cheek causing the audience to scream loudly and Yoga froze on stage while Jade all of a sudden turned awkward so the two just stood there helplessly which the fans found funny. Jade said to Yoga: [Sorry I forcefully kissed you, hope I won't get scolded by your fans]
Jade Liu will be in Taiwan for 1 month to promote her new songs, thinking of her family and her mum, Jade sang Leehom Wang’s [花田錯 (Hua Tian Cuo)] which was the song her mom liked listening to her sing the most. She also covered Faye Wong’s [悶], Faith Yang’s [女爵] and David Tao’s [我願意] plus other idols’ songs showing how she originally completed the rounds in the Super Girl contest with her ability to cover songs. Jade has already left Taiwan and returned to China.
