Filipinos banned from joining Miss Asia 2010

The 2010 Miss Asia Pageant (ATV) will be held at the end of this November in Hong Kong. This year’s rule is resumed to the old one in 2007, allowing Chinese in various places to participate. Nicholas Tse refuses birthday celebration to mourn Manila hostages

Nicholas Tse’s birthday is on August 29. To mourn the Hong Kongers who lost their lives in the hostage crisis, he asked assistant to wrote on Weibo last night, telling fans don’t come to his filming place to celebrate birthday for him: “On the 28th (lunar birthday) and 29th, can’t give him birthday gifts and cake. Don’t come to filming place. Can’t celebrate.”

Hong kong artists mad over manila hostage crisis

At the end of the11-hour hostage standoff in Philippine yesterday, 8 deaths of Hong Kongers are confirmed. Artistes all expressed their condolence and mourned the dead. Mourning ceremony is arranged in many public events today and attended artistes all wear plain and black clothing to express their condolence.
