Hong Kong actor Tony Leung is preparing to undergo surgery after doctors found that his old arm injury was not healing properly.
The 47-year-old actor broke a bone in his left arm in an accident during a martial arts practice session for martial arts film “The Grand Master” in July last year.
Leung’s surgery will delay shooting of “The Grand Master” yet again. (more…)

The film “New Shaolin Temple” starring Jackie Chan, Andy Lau, Nicholas Tse and Fan Bing Bing has started filming since October. Before they started shooting, director Benny Chan invited Master Wing Chi from Shaolin Lohan School to come over to Hong Kong to coach Andy the “Shaolin Seven Star Boxing”. In fact, Andy had already watched the basic steps and movement two months beforehand until master Wing came to Hong Kong. (more…)

Linda Chung attended Shaw Brothers’ “72 tenants” blessing ceremony yesterday. She revealed that she started learning Wing Chun specially for the role she plays in the film. Unfortunately during practice, she had injured her shoulder. Since learning Wing Chun, she feels her muscles are stronger and she has lost a bit of weight too. (more…)

The cast and crew are currently filming “Ip Man 2″ in Shanghai, Sohu.com reports.
Helmed by director Wilson Yip, the film has gathered actor Sammo Hung and Lynn Hung from the original with the addition of popular star Huang Xiaoming.
The continuation focuses on the life of the protagonist, differing from the serious theme of ‘fighting for survival’ in the original. Family relations are highlighted in the action-packed flick, according to the director Wilson Yip.
“Ip Man 2″ is slated for release in summer 2010. (more…)

Jackie Chan, Andy Lau and other actors were at Shaolin Temple for the press conference of New Shaolin Temple, the abbot entertained them in the abbot room with blessings and recitation.
