Hong kong artists mad over manila hostage crisis

At the end of the11-hour hostage standoff in Philippine yesterday, 8 deaths of Hong Kongers are confirmed. Artistes all expressed their condolence and mourned the dead. Mourning ceremony is arranged in many public events today and attended artistes all wear plain and black clothing to express their condolence.

Raymond Lam and Miriam Yeung argued in cold weather (movie)

Last night, Miriam Yeung and Raymond Lam were on the streets pushing and pulling for a dating scene in their new film <Perfect Wedding> directed by Barbara Wong. Janice Vidal helpless on rejecting TVB interview

It was reported that Leon Lai’s record company Amusic is not accepting interviews from both TVB and iCable and did not attend the <JSG Awards> was because they were unhappy that Janice Vidal and Aarif Lee did not get anything. Last night, Janice went on <JSG> and Miriam Yeung, also under Amusic, did not get troubled. This makes the public think that its a special arrangement, even Janice felt confused, (more…)

Battle intensified; record companies used artists to boycott TVB

Janice Vidal and her junior Aarif Lee are both TVB contracted singers, but yesterday they were “going against” (jok fan) TVB as they rejected their interview, leading to TVB’s dissatisfaction. It was rumored that their record company Amusic was unhappy that both Janice and Aarif failed to get awards at <JSG Awards>, so they are giving the “silent treatment” to TVB. (more…)
